I have had a massive desire to serve the Lord on an LDS mission for a few years now, and I couldn't wait to turn my papers in exactly 120 days before my 19th birthday.After receiving my call just a week later, I read the words, "Washington D.C. South", and in that instant I felt in my heart that that's exactly where I need to be. '
I know that the Lord sends His missionaries when and where He needs them; we are not called to a place, but we are called in place of the Savior. In some way or another, those people need me, and I need them to strengthen my spiritual growth.
I am so excited to serve the people of Washington D.C. South, and I invite you to share the journey with me as I post weekly of the lessons I've learned, as well as the experiences I have! Enjoy ☺
